Working from home telecommuting

Advances in telecommunication now make it possible for us to complete and deliver job assignments without setting foot in the office. An increasing number of people are taking advantage of this opportunity to work from home or telecommute in order to avoid traffic and have more time for family.
If you are contemplating this style of working:
- You must be highly motivated. Many persons find that their productivity falls in the more relaxed home atmosphere.
- You must have defined workspace and times. Avoid taking your work with you to the kitchen, bedroom, etc and try to stay within normal working hours.
- Remember to go into the office from time to time so that you can keep in touch with your workmates and avoid feeling cooped-up.
